Bring One for the Chipper

  

This year Keep Screven Beautiful along with the City of Sylvania and Screven County Solid Waste collected 54 Christmas trees. 51 were mulched and 3 were composted. This saved 1.08 tons from the landfill.

 

City of Sylvania employees were Johnny Lee Ward and Craig Dixon. KSB members attending were: Bill Revesz (Chairman), Beth Collins (Representative for Rocky Ford), Vernon Edenfield (Publics Works Director), Bobby Smith (Representative for Solid Waste) and Lisa.

Mission Statement

The Keep Screven Beautiful Commission encourages and educates all citizens of Screven County to end litter, minimize solid waste and beautify our county. The Commission works toward improving litter and solid waste control ordinances and seeks effective enforcement of all pertinent ordinances.
