Savannah River Challenge

Your chance to help at Christmas

Christmas is a time to be with family and loved ones. The young men at Savannah River Challenge will not have that opportunity this Christmas. If you would like to help make Christmas a little more merry for them, here is your chance.

If you would like to donate items, Captain Ron has pulled together a list of acceptable items:

  • Marbled composition books

  • Socks

  • Small Bible (New Testament)

  • Some type of encourage book

  • Candy canes

  • Candy bars

  • Socks

  • Toothbrushes

  • Toothpaste

  • Gloves

  • Puzzle books (crossword, word search)

  • Small calendar

There are 150 students at SRC, divided into 3 camps. If you cannot send items to all 150, you can break it down to 50. A cash donation is also very welcome. Please contact Tammie Colson if you would like to donate. The donation deadline is December 17th. This will give them time to pull together items.

Also, if you would like to donate your time, please contact SRC at 829-5300.

Rivers Alive Certificates
