Keep Screven Beautiful
Committees
The Keep Screven Beautiful Commission shall operate through the following standard committees:
Executive
The Executive Committee shall consist of the officers of KSBC and the Executive Director. The Committee may act on issues requiring immediate attention between KSBC meetings.
Public Information and Community Information
The Information/Education Committee shall be charged with developing informational and educational campaigns designed to change behavior throughout the county to abate litter, minimize solid waste and encourage recycling, and promote community beautification.
Litter Control Committee
The Litter Control Committee shall be charged with developing projects, activities and campaigns to abate litter and support enforcement of litter laws.
Recycling Committee
The Recycling Committee shall be charged with developing projects, activities and campaigns to encourage and educate the citizens of Screven County on recycling.
Awards & Recommendations Committee
The Awards & Recommendations Committee is charged with conducting an awards program to recognize citizens "caught in the act" of keeping Screven Beautiful.
Community Beautification
The Beautification Committee shall be charged with developing projects, activities and campaigns designed to promote beautification of public and private property, to support code enforcement related to community beautification and make recommendations to local governments on ordinances relating to community beautification.
Nominations Committee
The Nominations Committee shall annually recommend to the KSBC membership nominees for all officer and committee positions.

Mission Statement
The Keep Screven Beautiful Commission encourages and educates all citizens of Screven County to end litter, minimize solid waste and beautify our county. The Commission works toward improving litter and solid waste control ordinances and seeks effective enforcement of all pertinent ordinances.
